Whos on our water park? (Amelia)

13th August 2020
We love what we do – and we couldn’t do it without our team, especially our lifeguards. Being a lifeguard is a fulfilling and a one of a kind job, but don’t just take our word for it. We’ve interviewed one of our seasoned lifeguards – Amelia.
As a lifeguard…
How long have you been a lifeguard at Aqua Parcs? “I’ve been at this water park for 2 seasons now. I’m in it for the long-haul!”
What do you love the most about working at Aqua Parcs? “I’m a people person. And this job allows me to interact with people all day – and it’s on the water!”
What are your favourite moments at Aqua Parcs? “I love it when a family or group of friends get on our water park and you can see they are having a great time – and then when they engage with us as lifeguards. Just makes for an exciting time for everyone during a session.”
Outside of being a lifeguard…
What do you enjoy doing outside of Aqua Parcs? “When I’m not cheering guests on while on the park – I’m cheering for teams. I’m a proud cheerleader! I also like spending time with friends and shopping. Retail-therapy!”
What is your favourite beverage? “I’d have to say Fanta Fruit Twist. It’s fruity and refreshing.”
If you could go anywhere on holiday, where would it be? “Every year I go to Thailand and that is my happy place. I’d choose there over anywhere.”
Our fully trained and qualified lifeguards are on the park to protect the safety of our guests – so they can focus on having fun. We value the role of our lifeguards and appreciate the work they put in, season after season. Thanks for being a rock star Amelia!
